A huge Bowie made in the French-style. These were popular in the 1830's because firearms of the times were not very accurate and unreliable. A big Bowie was essential to the well-armed frontiersman. I used 154cm stainless steel and stabilized ebony and a stainless guard. I also did the engraving. The 11 1/4" blade is a flat ground and has a 6 1/4" handle with domed pins. Total length is 17 1/2".
